We won’t get into any fancy-sounding scientific explanations because, to be honest, my life has changed every single day since I first started getting up early at the age of 15.
I didn’t know or care about any of that, so I’ll try to explain to you how getting up early has improved my life in the hopes that it will inspire you to try it too.
What time do you typically get out of bed and how long do you sleep at night? I’ve enjoyed talking with you guys ever since I started studying for an exam at midnight four years ago.
That’s something we’re all guilty of, so my dad thought he’d check on me. He usually asks how I am. He observed me studying and stressed out and said, “Hey, you’re already so tired you’re not even absorbing anything,” as he noticed that the study room lights were still on after midnight.
Why not go to bed right away and study in the morning? You want me to get up early, but you know what? I was so stressed out and exhausted at that point that I was willing to do anything.
Because you know dad knows best. so I slept and woke up at 4:00 am the next morning and I repeated that every single day for the next four years.
Here’s Why I stay up Until Two in the Morning!!
scrolling and watching YouTube videos or doing homework. Before going to bed, I frequently feel extremely guilty, unproductive, and demotivated.
Usually, this is because I didn’t intend to stay up until 2 am. It sort of just happened. I put off studying again because I would not have needed to stay up until 2 am to cram and then when I woke up the next day at 11 a.m.
If I had actually used my time wisely and had done enough throughout the day. Despite getting nine hours of sleep, I still feel sleepy, exhausted, and generally unmotivated.
When you have school the following day and only got about four hours of sleep the night before, it is even worse.
What is the Actual Logic Behind Waking Up Early?
When you actively decide to wake up at 4 00 am, the feeling of knowing that you woke up with a sense of purpose and the objective of being productive.
Because you woke up so early, you’re probably not going to waste your time scrolling on tick-tock, so productivity is at an all-time high during these hours.
Purpose and the objective of being productive are not only motivating but oddly inspiring. Work is much simpler and completed more quickly when there is complete silence around you at 4 a.m. and no other distractions.
Usually, it takes me 45 minutes in total. after breakfast, skincare, and before beginning any work or homework.
What I am Currently Doing?
I’m currently finishing up my script for YouTube while responding to your emails and looking over some designs for my company.
I’ll put in about three hours of work. until it’s time to leave for work or school, which oddly enough you would assume because you woke up so early you would feel very tired during class but it’s actually the opposite.
Before we move on, I would like to mention that an advertisement might play in the next few seconds or minutes and if it does, please do not skip the advertisement.
This will help ensure that you feel energized and engaged with the lesson because you simply don’t have that morning grogginess because you’ve already been awake for four hours.
